French Websites
Monday 18 February, 2008
Here is a list of French websites that will help your kids practice what we’ve learned in class:
Comptines.net : Where you can listen to the songs that we have been learning in class (different versions from the one you have on CD). Just click on the name of the said song and listen to it!
Language Lab – Primary French from the BBC: animated and non-animated content with audio. Fun activities.
Review your vocabulary (audio), please repeat after the voice you hear: the alphabet – l’alphabet (vocabulary and exercises), numbers – les chiffres (click on each number and you’ll hear it), the family- la famille (his name is Romain and as you click on his family members you’ll their relation to him; ex. my mother, my father, etc.).
I hope this helps. I will add other interesting links as I find them.

Monday next week (Feb. 18 ) will be “Family Day”, a statutory holiday here in Ontario. I will not teach that day.
I will be away on Wednesday (Feb. 20) as well.
Please contact me to reschedule your lessons on Tuesday or Thursday that week. Thank you!
French for kids!
Tuesday 12 February, 2008
The French lessons for kids have started in January. The small group of 4 students (age 5 to 7) is having a lot of fun: we are learning French through games and songs! For more details about our program, please check the new page.
I am creating a new category called French (see below) because I am planning to remind here parents and students which songs you should listen to before your class, as well as the websites that might be interesting for parents and children alike.
